One of the best Self Defense programs around,  we pride ourselves on teaching best of the best from American Kenpo to The Pit and CrossPit programs, From Self Defense to Cage Fighting you can learn it all here.  our Chief Instructor is a Pit certified Instructor,  a 5th degree Black Belt in Evolution Combat Kickboxing and MMA, and 4th degree Black Belt in American Kenpo under 10th Degree Grand Master Dave Hebler and also currently trains under the same Instructor as Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell, John Hakleman of the PIT


Mergen MMA Fitness for kids, we teach our young students the importance of the Martial Arts and that it is used for self-defense only, but that they can still use the Focus, Concentration, Respect, Self-Discipline and Confidence to excel in school and in life but at the same time have the power to say "NO" to unhealthy peer pressure. Building young successful children is our goal. we want to re-enforce all of the family values taught at home through POSITIVE  reenforcement.


Chief instructor Fred Mergen. started Karate at the age of 9, Mr. Mergen has trained in various arts including, Tae Kwon Do, Mu Duk Kwan, Hapkido, Judo/Jui-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts , Traci Kenpo and decided to spend most of his Martial Arts Career with Ed Parker's American Kenpo. Mr. Mergen Trained with some of the Best in the art of Kenpo such as Manny Reyes Sr., Richard Tillotson where he learned most of his teaching skills, Greg Silva who was a Super Mentor, Sean Kelley who taught Mr. Mergen the importance of the Principles and academics of kenpo, Jeff Speakman who opened the door to MECHANICS of kenpo, Trever Sherman and Dave Hebler who showed Mr. Mergen the importance of thinking outsude the traditional box of kenpo and incorporated the MMA. Mr.. Hackleman showed Mr. Mergen the importance of conditioning and how crutial it is to the Martial Arts Mr Mergen Started teaching karate in 1991 in Boca Raton, at T's East West Karate. Since he has attended numerous Instructor Seminars and workshops on how to interact with children ages 3 to the teens . His accomplishments include:

  Presley's former Body guard Dave Hebler Gift of Power
  • Trains Under the Same Instructor as Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell
  • Also has an extensive experience in TKD, Judo/Jui-Jitsu and MMA
  • Instructor Certification (Black Belt Schools of America)
  • Instructs Law enforcement officers, and Military Personel
  • Trains Fighters to compete in amateur and pro fights
